Past President, Council of Architecture (2011-14), (A Statutory Body of Govt. of India, MHRD, New Delhi). An ardent Bamboo enthusiast contributing wholeheartedly in Bamboo Awareness and Promotion aspects through Pedagogy, online/offline Seminars, conferences, and hands-on workshops for all these years, introducing, especially students, to the Funtastic World of Bamboo.

Dr. Jagadish Vengala is a Professor and former scientist with Research, Industry, and Teaching Experience. He is contributing to the Research, Dissemination, and adoption of Bamboo and Earthquake Resistant housing in India for the last 16 years.
